Habitat Nature Camp

Habitat Nature Camp has been engaging children in nature study since 1974. We are guided by a philosophy of discovery, providing campers with opportunities to explore, question, and connect in nature.

We encourage campers, ages 4–14, to explore their surroundings and discover new interests and talents. We inspire campers to question and challenge their understanding of nature and their own place within it. Our camp community is welcoming and responsive and connects new and returning campers to lasting friendships.

Registration for Camp

Families may register online or by calling 617-489-5050. To make sure you’re prepared to register for camp, please read our registration instructions and camp policies, which include changes to pricing and membership. To ensure that as many children as possible are able to participate in camp, families may register each camper for no more than one one-week session and one two-week session

Please note: Due to overwhelming need for financial assistance, we have closed registration for Tiers 1–3. Tier 4 registration is still available by phone only. If you are unable to pay the Tiers 4 or 5 tuition for camp, we encourage you to add your name to our waitlist. As we continue to secure funding across the state, we will open more spaces at lower tiers where possible.

What Others Are Saying...

“Habitat is so special! The counselors are enthusiastic and really care about the kids and it shows. My 'indoor cat' of a child just finished his second year and wishes he could stay all summer! Outside! In the woods!” —2023 Habitat Camp Parent
